Carpool Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- When the driver cancels a booking, passengers get a full refund, including service fees. If the driver should've cancelled a booking online but didn't, the passenger should inform BlaBlaCar that they didn't travel together by cancelling the ride within 24 hours of the departure time. The driver will get the next seven days to agree or disagree. If the driver agrees, the passenger gets a full refund, including service fees.
- When the passenger cancels a booking more than 24 hours before departure, they get a refund for their booking, excluding service fees. If the passenger cancels in the last 24 hours before departure, they get a refund of 50% of the booking, excluding service fees. The driver also gets compensated 50% because the passenger cancelled shortly before the ride. If the passenger doesn't show up at the meeting point, the driver gets compensated for the entire passenger contribution.
- If a booking is made in the last 24 hours before the ride but is cancelled within 30 minutes of booking, the passenger gets a refund for the booking, excluding service fees.

- To qualify for a BlaBlaCar bus refund without fees, in the form of a voucher only, passengers must cancel their ride up to 30 days before the scheduled departure date. After that, a cancellation & modification fee is charged. After cancelling, passengers receive a voucher (valid for 1 year) for the booking amount.
Refunds are processed within 10 days through the same payment method used during booking. This policy applies to domestic rides in the UK. When travelling abroad, the other country’s cancellation and refund policy will apply. There are no refunds or compensation when the passenger is meant to pay for the ride in cash.
